A big 'thank you!' to each of our donors for helping us raise 10% of our project goal so far! While we hope to make even greater gains on our goal in the coming months, we want our donors to know that their ongoing support makes a real and lasting impact on the lives of our students.
As the 37 students wait patiently for the results of the Form Four national exams, which are due out in late February/early March, they are learning computer skills and interning in the various departments in the Village. Hopefully, this experience will provide valuable insight into strenghts and interests for possible careers for these young adults.
Thankfully, as we wait for the results of the exams, we have wonderful news to celebrate. Our Village primary students, whose exam scores were announced just a couple of weeks ago, set a new record for the school's top scores. This is a very encouraging sign of development and growth! Nyumbani students' national test scores are improving from as early on as primary age, showing holistic growth in Nyumbani's education program at all levels.
With your help, our high school students are closer than ever to beginning their paths to secure and stable careers, which will empower them, for the first time in their lives, to provide for themselves. With your help, we can launch the next generation of great teachers, lawyers, and leaders of Kenya! Please continue to support this important project on behalf of the children of Nyumbani Village.
