Overview
In June 2025, we launched a new one-year Medical Massage Therapist Training Course in Yangon, Myanmar, for ten visually impaired students aged from their 20s to 40s. The program provides both technical skills and personal development to help them achieve economic independence. Students live together at a school for the blind while receiving training in massage techniques, anatomy, physiology, and physical fitness. This initiative is part of Japan Heart’s ongoing mission to create sustainable livelihoods for people with disabilities in Myanmar.

Acknowledgement
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all donors and supporters who make this program possible. Your contributions are not only funding training materials, living expenses, and instructor salaries, but also giving each student the opportunity to gain dignity, independence, and hope for a brighter future.
Every massage technique they learn, every moment of teamwork they experience, and every bit of confidence they gain is thanks to your generosity. We look forward to sharing their continued progress with you in the coming months.
