The Juanfe Foundation has been dedicated to improving mental health, providing young women with greater psychosocial support and more opportunities in the labor market. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we have managed to continue offering benefits in job management, support, training, and participation in events to 465 graduates. These opportunities represent a possibility for personal transformation and growth for these young women. We are immensely grateful for the unwavering support of our donors, which makes all this possible.
The emotional well-being of our young women is a priority. This year, we have conducted 170 psychosocial evaluations and organized therapeutic group sessions focused on depression and sadness. In terms of sexual rights, we have empowered our young women and prevented subsequent pregnancies, achieving a 97% rate of contraceptive use. Additionally, our childcare centers are currently serving 140 children, providing a safe learning and development environment for the children of our young women. Our heartfelt thanks go to our donors, whose generosity ensures these crucial services continue to thrive.
In the area of job placement, 103 young women began their intervention process in phase I of the model, marking a crucial step towards independence and self-sufficiency. Additionally, as part of the Employability Horizon project, we have equipped and remodeled the hospitality services workshop with modern tools and equipment, essential for the practical development of the program's competencies. This effort has allowed 103 teenage mothers to join the 360º Model in their first semester in various technical areas, and 231 to continue their training. Our profound gratitude extends to our donors, whose contributions have been instrumental in these remarkable advancements.
CESDE has implemented innovations in its educational offerings to support growing productive sectors and expand technical education to a broader audience. In this regard, three new specialized schools have been created in Creative Industries, Gastronomy, and Tourism, which are added to those of New Technologies, Business Development, and Health and Care. These six schools work in collaboration with the country's leading companies to offer an educational program tailored to market needs. We are deeply thankful to our donors for their support, which enables us to provide these cutting-edge educational opportunities.
The transformation these young women are experiencing, achieving economic and emotional autonomy, is an extraordinary achievement that goes beyond the merely financial. It represents a testament to their strength and capacity for personal improvement. This progress has been made possible thanks to the generosity and commitment of our donors. Every contribution has played a fundamental role in changing lives, creating new opportunities, and building a better future for these young women and the entire Medellín community. Our deepest gratitude goes to all our donors for making these life-changing successes a reality.
Thank you for being a beacon of hope and transformation. Together, we are creating brighter futures and stronger communities.
