In the heart of Barrio 31, Luz de Esperanza continues to transform lives through the art of candle-making. Over the past year, 60 individuals facing recovery from substance use and deep social vulnerability joined our workshops. Here, they learned more than a craft—they rebuilt confidence, discipline, and the ability to dream again. With over 48,000 candles produced and 7,000 glass bottles recycled, every product carries a story of dignity and resilience. One participant, Ivana, shared: “This space taught me more than how to work—it helped me grow as a person.” New partnerships with companies like Construyendo and our EcoFrit alliance have expanded both social and environmental impact. As we grow, we remain committed to empowering more lives with each flame we light.
