As 2023 comes to a close, let’s take a look back at all that we’ve accomplished. Rising Minds commitment to providing supplemental services to schools in San Juan La Laguna has been unwavering. In efforts to combat some of the challenges related to learning, Rising Minds is working with Escuela Oficial Rural Mixta Barrio San Juanerita to provide supplemental enrichment programming, such as social-emotional learning and English classes. This programming is highly sought after in efforts to accelerate learning for all students. Working with 4th, 5th, and 6th graders, we delivered 3 hours of weekly enrichment programming from March to November. This programming helps accelerate learning for all students, providing students with the support they need to thrive in school and out of school.
Looking forward to 2024, we’re excited to continue to work with our community partner schools to deliver lessons related to physical, behavioral, and mental health and our weekly enrichment classes!
