The activity was to enlighten participants on how to address the challenges girls face globally from child marriage to limited access to education and healthcare and also to empower girls to shape their voices to create a better world for all. The event had in attendance a total number of 158 participants including GPI girls and facilitators.
Methodologies used were: songs and exercise, general discussion, presentation, brainstorming and interactive discussion to get the girls to share their vision statements looking at the future with hope and enthusiasm.
As a way to encourage adolescent girls to maintain healthy living towards their development, packs of sanitary towels was distributed to them as a sign of appreciating them for their active participation during the event.
