Goal: Provide 2,500 reusable sanitary pad kits to schoolgirls in Kenya in 2026
Progress: 1,250 kits distributed so far this year!
For many girls in rural Kenya, the lack of access to affordable, reliable sanitary products creates a significant barrier to their confidence and dignity. Period poverty often forces girls to miss school, feel immense shame, or resort to unsafe alternatives, which can lead to long-term health risks and social isolation.
We are working to change this. By providing reusable, high-quality sanitary pad kits, we are giving girls a sustainable, long-term solution. These kits do more than just provide hygiene products; they offer freedom. When girls can manage their menstruation with comfort and confidence, they can participate fully in school and daily life without the constant anxiety and stigma associated with inadequate resources.
Our Impact So Far Thanks to the incredible support of our donors, we have already successfully delivered 1,250 kits to girls in need this year. Four different pad distributions have taken place, including one in a school for the deaf. The feedback has been transformative—students report feeling more confident, less ashamed, and empowered to focus on their studies and their futures.
The Path Forward We are halfway to our goal of 2,500 kits. With your continued support, we can reach the remaining 1,250 girls, ensuring that menstrual health is a bridge to opportunity rather than a barrier.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this journey. Your generosity is directly shaping the lives and future potential of these young women. Together, we are proving that with the right tools, no girl should have to let her period stand in the way of her dreams.
