Breaking Records At The Pad Project

By Caroline Kouns | Operations Manager

This update is for you, our incredible donors, whose support is transforming lives every single day. We are thrilled to share that, thanks to your generosity, we have broken last year's record!

 Record-Breaking Impact: Quantifiable Results!

We have already delivered over 9,300 reusable pad kits to those in need, surpassing last year's total! Each kit delivered provides a girl or woman with a safe, sustainable way to manage her period, leading to better health and school attendance.

Critical Kit Component Secured: An Overwhelming Response!

We must also give a massive shout-out to everyone who has supported our kits with donations of essential items. We are thrilled that, thanks to your overwhelming generosity, we have received an incredible 8,000 pairs of new undies!

Your donations ensure every recipient gets everything they need for a complete, dignified kit. This component is absolutely critical to the health and functionality of the reusable pad kit you helped fund.

 Innovation & Sustainability

We're thrilled with the incredible response to the recent trial of our new PUL drawstring wet bag pattern! This trial has now become a critical part of our strategy due to an important development:

  • Environmental Policy: Kenya has banned the use of all plastic bags.

  • The Solution: Your beautifully sewn PUL wet bags will now serve as the official distribution and storage bagfor all our kits on trips to Kenya! This means your donation contributes to a sustainable, legal, and high-quality solution for both distribution and long-term recipient use.
