Since 2022, UFN has been empowering underprivileged children in Rasuwa and Nuwakot through education. This ongoing project focuses on providing essential school supplies, building infrastructure, and training teachers to improve education quality. Now introduced on GlobalGiving, we aim to expand our impact by reaching more children and enhancing learning environments. Together, let's build a brighter future for the youth of Nepal.
Children in Rasuwa and Nuwakot face severe barriers to education due to poverty, lack of infrastructure, and insufficient resources. Schools lack proper facilities, trained teachers, and learning materials. Families cannot afford school supplies, and many children, especially girls, are forced to drop out. Remote locations and dangerous commutes worsen access. These challenges perpetuate a cycle of poverty, denying children the opportunity to improve their lives through education.
This project will address the barriers to education in Rasuwa and Nuwakot by providing school supplies, improving infrastructure, and training teachers. We will create safe, resource-equipped learning environments and offer scholarships to support underprivileged students, especially girls. By fostering community engagement and ensuring access to quality education, this initiative will empower children with the opportunities needed to break the cycle of poverty and build brighter future.
The project's long-term impact includes breaking the cycle of poverty in Rasuwa and Nuwakot by empowering children with education.
