Empowering Education in Nepal

We are doing steady progress in Rasuwa and Nuwakot. Our work is focused on helping public schools that have very limited resources. Most of the schools are in hillside areas and students walk long distances every day. We are supporting these schools with basic needs so that children can study in a safe and comfortable learning environment.

In the past few months we visited schools in both districts and talked with teachers and parents. We identified simple but important needs like classroom materials, whiteboards, notebooks, pencils, school bags, learning charts, cleaning supplies, and library books. Many classrooms do not have enough teaching materials so even small support makes a big difference.

We also supported some schools with small repairs such as fixing broken desks and cleaning the school area. Teachers shared that these improvements helped students stay focused. We are planning to provide more teaching materials before the winter season begins because many schools struggle to keep children motivated during the cold months.

We are also working closely with local volunteers who help us coordinate with school principals and education officers. This helps us make sure our support reaches the right schools on time. Our goal is to keep improving the learning environment for students in rural areas and reduce the burden on teachers who are already working with very limited tools.

We will continue our regular follow ups with schools in Rasuwa and Nuwakot and bring more support in the coming months. Every donation from GlobalGiving donors helps us reach more schools and more children. We are grateful for the trust and continued support.

Thank you again for your continued support. We are happy to share an update from our education project in Nepal.

Over the past few months, we have continued supporting students in rural Nuwakot by helping with school supplies, tuition support, and building stronger connections with local schools. Most of our funding still comes from local donations in Nepal, and we are proud that the community is standing with us to make education possible.

We are also excited to share that we have started working with SEVA Travelers, a group that sends skilled volunteers to help nonprofit projects like ours. Morry Rao Hermón, their Co-Founder and Director, has been in touch with us and we are planning to host volunteers in Nepal soon. They will help us grow our capacity, share their knowledge, and support our long-term mission in education.

Your platform has given us a space to reach more people who care, and we are truly thankful. We will continue working in Nuwakot and beyond, and we are hopeful that more donors and partners will join our journey through GlobalGiving.
