Empowering Education in Nepal

Greetings from United Foundation-Nepal (UFN),

We’re excited to share the latest progress from our education project in Rasuwa and Nuwakot. With your support and strong coordination with PABSON (Private and Boarding Schools' Organization Nepal), we’re making steady progress in improving access to quality education in rural communities.

Key Achievements This Quarter:

  • School Supplies Distribution: With help from PABSON member schools, we distributed notebooks, school bags, and hygiene kits to 135+ students in underserved areas.

  • Partnership with PABSON: Through this coordination, we received valuable teaching materials and guidance on student-centered learning techniques, which we shared with local teachers.

  • Girls’ Participation: Our awareness activities, held in partnership with school leaders and community members, led to a 20% rise in girls attending school regularly.

  • Support for Teachers: In collaboration with PABSON trainers, we conducted a local workshop focused on classroom management and active learning methods.

What’s Next:

  • Launching a mobile library to bring books closer to children in remote villages.

  • Distributing solar lamps to help students study at night.

  • Planning a joint event with PABSON schools to celebrate National Education Day.

This work would not be possible without your continued trust and support. We’re especially thankful to PABSON for their coordination, and to all our donors for believing in this mission.

Together, we’re planting seeds of hope through education.

Warm regards,
Niraj Sigdel
