A Joyful Start: The Summer Camp Program
As a bridge between the previous year and the 2026 cycle, the Girls' Club offered a summer camp program designed to nurture joy, creativity, and connection during the school break. The girls took part in dance, art, and football — activities that went beyond recreation, reinforcing key social-emotional competencies such as teamwork, self-expression, and confidence. This period also included guided conversations where participants shared their expectations and aspirations for the year ahead, generating valuable input to shape the upcoming program cycle.
Returning to the Structured Cycle: Planning for 2026
With the holiday period behind them, the Girls' Club is resuming its regular programming structure. The 2026 cycle will build on the methodology proven effective in previous years, combining continuity for returning participants with a welcoming integration process for new members. Sessions will continue to be grounded in participatory learning, collective dialogue, and practical tools that participants can apply in their families, schools, and community — always with the girls as active agents of their own development.
International Women's Day: Reflections on Identity, Freedom, and Choice
In the framework of International Women's Day, the Girls' Club held a special event that became a space of honest dialogue and collective reflection. Through participatory activities, the girls explored the diverse roles women play in society — as leaders, mothers, and entrepreneurs — not as fixed expectations, but as expressions of strength and personal choice. The conversation challenged inherited gender norms and invited participants to reflect on their freedom to define their own path, affirming their right to build a life aligned with their own values and aspirations rather than social pressure or cultural scripts.
Looking Ahead
The Girls' Club enters 2026 with renewed purpose and a strong foundation built through years of consistent, rights-based work. The energy shown during the holiday program and the Women's Day event reaffirms the importance of this space as a community of learning, growth, and mutual support. As structured sessions resume, the team remains committed to offering a safe and empowering environment where every girl feels seen, heard, and valued — continuing to accompany young women as they grow into active agents of change within their community.
