In its report, the United Nations states that nearly 60 million people in Nigeria lack access to safe water, which can lead to waterborne diseases, malnutrition, and other health problems. The project aims to provide 50 million Nigerians with clean water by 2030 by setting up solar-powered boreholes in rural communities.
