By contributing to our mission, you are directly impacting the lives of individuals who may be in crisis. Your help will enable us to expand our training programs and reach more people.
Suicide is a major public health problem in the United States. Nearly 50,000 people die each year from suicide and it is the 3rd most frequent killer of teenagers.
The Center for Health and Learning provides training to individuals, schools, and communities about suicide prevention and how to help someone in need.
We offer programs in high schools designed to help build and reinforce resilience and leadership skills in teenagers. Our objective is to empower young people to effectively handle challenging situations and acquire the necessary tools to navigate through adversity. We aim to have a lasting impact by helping them learn to bounce back from tough times.
