Hope you are doing well!
We are back with the recent updates of our children at Manavya. The exams are finally over & now all the children are enjoying their summer vacations. Few of our kids go to their relatives for few days. This gives then a change in the environment. For other kids, we come up with various activities during their vacation. Children had a blissful time having mangoes & visiting various places.
To make our children understand how a five star hotel works, what is meant by professionalism, hospitality, and how it is maintained while administrating such a huge hotel, what are the different departments that are required while managing a hotel, and how these departments coordinate with each other, what is the importance of personal and environmental hygiene and how these both are kept in balance, how the guests are welcomed.
This event was organized with an objective to introduce and expose our children to the vast hotel industry, so that they can know about the career prospects and opportunities in this sector, and can also be oriented about functioning of such a renowned Hotel, which is serving to even international guests and companies. This event was particularly designed to guide and boost the confidence of those children who are interested in pursuing hotel management course after completing their basic education.
All our children were amazed and inspired after looking to the great care and strict monitoring that is followed while preparing and serving the food, while handling the big guests, and looking to the ambience and overall professional atmosphere in the hotel. Children were also showed guest room, various activities that are organized for the entertainment of the guests, the hotel management went out of the way to show our children various suite & the various facilities available in a suite.
A visit was planned to Tata Motors, Pune. To show children how the cars are made step by step by providing them a practical orientation of manufacturing plant. This helped in solving their doubts and queries in process of car manufacturing, and inspires them to dream of something big in their lives. All children enjoyed this informative as well as entertaining visit of car manufacturing as they get every detail involved in production of cars.
All the children have cleared their final exams & will be going to the next grade. Their schools will reopen on 15th on June. We will be back with a detail report on more activities conducted during this tenure & the educational progress report.
