Empowering 50 HIV+ kids in India through education

First of all, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to GlobalGiving for their support in our efforts towards educational empowerment of born orphan HIV positive children. Also, we would like to thank our donors for their trust in our work and their whole hearted support towards strengthening our efforts.

Now, we would like to take you through the highlights of the completed quarter of the present academic year and let you know the recent developments. Our students are engaged in lots of things besides academics.

• One of our 20 year old boys Pankaj living in community with the support of Manavya has given a final exam of last year of “Fine Arts”. And we are confident about him that he will successfully complete his degree next year. Now he simultaneously wants to do the job in the field of design & art. Now he is searching for a job in this field. Below are some designs made by Pankaj.           

• Our two kids now preparing for the upcoming final examination of I.T I which will be in the month of June, 2019. For this preparation they are also taking guidance from one of our volunteer Mr. Sudhir Joshi.

• All the children had their final examinations in the month of March & April. Our teachers and students worked hard for examination. As we said our children are engaged in lots of things besides academics. Our consultant Dr. Patil took a session on ART treatment necessary to maintain their CD4 count. The session was very useful & informative. Children and doctor had question answer session during that lecture.
• We celebrated the auspicious occasion of Marathi New Year on 6^th April, 19. It is called “Gudi Padwa” which was celebrated with lots of patriotism and enthusiasm.
