Empowering 50 HIV+ kids in India through education

Introduction:

 From last 3 months we have succeeded that children have finished their final examination and we thank to Global Giving for this kind support.

 At the same time we pleasure to share that we successfully started new academic year.

 Some of the highlights are as below.

• Our child Pankaj successfully completed 3^rd year examination of “Fine Arts” & performed well in his examination & now appeared for last year of Fine Arts. 

• Aarti has completed his graduation in Arts done specialization in psychology & has got a good job in NGO. This is a real achievement for us as we have got a success to create a feeling of humanity about the every human being in the community in our children

• Apart from the academic education we provide children vocational Tailoring crash course of 3 months with the collaboration of Manilal Nanavati Vocational Training Institute & Maharshi Karve Stri Shikshan Sanstha,Pune. Children have participated with enthusiasm in this course & now achievement is that in this Diwali festival we have our in house tailoring team to stitch dresses of girls.

Other activities for this quarter:

• It has been observed that children are lagging behind in studies and finding it difficult them to cope with the 10^th syllabus, as this year the entire syllabus has changed. Hence we run extra coaching class for 8^th to 10^th std children. Special tuition teacher has been appointed to teach them Maths, Science & English. It is helping them a lot to improve in their studies.

• Group session was conducted by one of our trustee & renowned social worker Mrs. Kalpana Sancheti. This was conducted for 10^th std children & the aim for this session was to motivate children for studies enhance their skills & abilities like communication skill,presentability, way of thinking about others etc

• Apart from education & training program children enjoyed all the festivals like Ganesh Utsav, Dassara, and Rakshabandhan in the premises of Manavya Gokul.
