This project provides 500 less fortunate girls and boys in various rural villages and towns of Papua New Guinea to go to school and empower their future thus ending poverty.
95% of 60,000 children and students entering school every year in Papua New Guinea become school 'Drop-Outs' and entraped in a lifetime of poverty for lack of school fees. Over 600,000 children had been dropped-out in the last 10 years. This project shall sponsor 500 girls and boys retained in school for one year and bring a brighter future whilst ending poverty.
We shall provide sponsorships/scholarships to the less fortunate girls and boys through our existing education network partners and ensure each child continues in school. Thus reduce the numbers of school drop-outs, and work towards ending poverty.
The project will educate 500 needy girls and boys to sustain their education, stop drop-out, and provide for their families and well being. Thus alleviating poverty amongst children, students, and families.
