This was very different and special due to the global pandemic, in Mexico the quarantine began in some places since March, thus interrupting our interventions in high schools.
Even so, we managed to teach this semester 13 workshops and 23 activities, of which some were face-to-face and the majority in virtual mode.
This semester we had to adapt several of our activities to a virtual format and many others we could not finish them, because it was not possible to carry them out.
The main thing that was affected were the workshops we taught in high schools. As of March, we already had our goal of workshops scheduled with the high schools, that means that we had already agreed on our goal of workshops with which we committed ourselves to the community that supported us in GlobalGiving.
Even with these changes that the pandemic has brought us, we are seeking to continue empowering our volunteer facilitators and, through technology, equipping them with resources and tools so that they can develop their skills as social leaders.
