Building the Foundation for Impact

Thank you for standing with BASIQAT CHARITY FOUNDATION and believing in our vision to transform education in Kano, Nigeria.

Although our fundraising journey is still in its early stages, we have remained committed to preparing this project for successful implementation. During this reporting period, our team focused on strengthening the project's foundation to ensure that every future donation will have the greatest possible impact.

We have continued refining the training framework, reviewing the teacher development curriculum, and engaging with education stakeholders to ensure the programme responds to the real needs of teachers in Kano State. We have also advanced the operational planning for the future training centre, including implementation, monitoring, and sustainability plans.

Our vision remains unchanged: to establish a permanent teacher training centre capable of training 2,520 teachers every year. Each trained teacher has the potential to improve learning for more than 150 students annually, creating a ripple effect that can benefit over 350,000 students across Kano.

While construction and programme delivery will begin once sufficient funding is secured, the early support we have received is an important first step toward making this vision a reality.
