Supporting the Disabled Community: A Key Priority of Joy Foundation
At Joy Foundation, empowering individuals with disabilities is a core focus. Through close interactions, we've observed that societal neglect and stigma can inflict lifelong trauma on persons with disabilities (PWDs). To address this, our initiatives target not only PWDs but also their support networks.
Raising Awareness and Promoting Inclusion
We conduct seminars and meetings to educate the public about the importance of supporting PWDs and their rights. Our Rehabilitation Training Program brings together individuals with and without disabilities, fostering understanding and equality.
Rural Outreach and Advocacy
Joy Foundation prioritizes rural and underdeveloped areas, where access to proper treatment and care is often limited. In contrast to urban areas, rural communities require greater awareness and education on PWD rights.
Accessibility Campaign
We launched a campaign to assess wheelchair accessibility in public spaces. Our reports are shared with the government to advocate for inclusive infrastructure, ensuring equal access for PWDs.
