Empowered Women Learn Code to Improve Their Lives.

This proyect intends to close the gap between women and the programming world, that for so long has been considered a matter for men.
By providing free classes, seminars, lectures and conferences, Mamá Digital is gathering more than a hundred women anually, which each time become more intrested not only in programming, but in many areas of the ICT's, which they can also learn and develop through other courses Mamá Digital offers.
Our purpose is to make sure women in Mexico realize the importance of the programming industry for themselves and their children, and through this event, boost their habilities and inspire their girls to get involved with code.

Women Code was an event of high social impact where more than 100 women received orientation and training so they can have access to the advantages of the technologies.
A unique event, thinking to provide affordable and free opportunities for women interested in learning how to take advantage of ICTs to improve their quality of life and also wake up in them the desire to learn code and software development. Not only for them to learn, but also to encourage their sons and daugthers to learn code and software development.
The conferences themes were "How to capitalize on your iPhone or iPad", "60 apps and teaching by leves", and "Learning strategies to develop in the children creativity and innovation with coding". In this last, Martha Sánchez, one of ours speakers, who is one of the first Educators invited to the World Conference of Developers (WWDC), told us how to empower women with codification tools help us solve problems in a more creatively way, and how to build apps that can make ideas.
Important points that women learned in this conference
* Make decisions with critical thinking
* Have the possibility of exploring different paths
* Allow mistakes in a safe environment
* Fun in the process and with the result

Mama Digital inspired and empowered women to change their lives throught coding and reduce the gender and digital gap. Last year we trained 1,200 women to use tecnologies and internet, to improve thier lives and to become leaders in the tech industry to inspire and teach other woman to become Digital Moms, showing them how to leverage existing job marketplaces so that they can freelance and work for clients anywhere in the world from their own homes. This affords them the opportunity to make money and change their lives, and their families for the better.
