Dear Supporters and Friends,
They say that technology is the great equalizer, but for many children in rural Romania, it often feels like a door that is double-locked. Contantly, at the RoboClub Hub in Rosiorii de Vede, we have the profound honor of unlocking that door for a very special group of visitors: students from the Inclusive Education Center.
These are children who face daily challenges that most of us can barely imagine. Often, society looks at them and sees "disabilities" or "limitations." At RoboClub, we looked at them and saw Architects, Engineers, and Creators.
The Spark of Discovery
The atmosphere in the hub is electric. We don't start with textbooks or complex theories. We start with touch. In the photos attached, you can see the moment logic became "physical." Using electronic snap-kits, the students built their first working circuits.
There is a specific kind of magic that happens when a child who has been told they "learn differently" suddenly sees a LED light up because of a circuit they built. In that second, the barrier between "I can’t" and "I just did" vanishes.
Beyond the Screen
We moved from physical circuits to digital logic. Watching these students navigate visual coding on the big screen was a testament to their resilience. Technology isn't just about jobs; for these children, it’s about agency. It’s about the realization that they can command a digital world, regardless of the physical or cognitive hurdles they face.
Why Your Support is the Final Piece of the Puzzle
We have the space—a 240sqm sanctuary of innovation. We have the passion and the 20 years of expertise. But as you can see from our project page, we are just at the beginning of our funding journey.
Every Euro you donate doesn't just buy a sensor or a laptop. It buys:
Confidence: For a child who felt left behind by the digital age.
Opportunity: For a student in Teleorman to realize they can compete globally.
Inclusion: Ensuring that "Special Education" includes "High-Tech Education."
Our hub operates on extreme efficiency, but we need your help to keep the lights on and the kits 3D-printed and ready for the next 300 children waiting for their "Aha!" moment.
Please consider making a donation today. Let’s prove that in the heart of Romania, no child is too remote, and no dream is too "special" to become a reality.
With gratitude and hope,
Iulian Virban
