Summary

Help save Nepal's Bengal Tigers by supporting youth education near Chitwan and Bardia National Parks. By engaging underprivileged children near Chitwan and Bardia National Parks, we instill a love for nature, conservation values, and prepare future eco-leaders. These parks host the highest concentration of Bengal Tigers in Nepal, making this education crucial for their survival. Join us in empowering the next generation of conservationists protecting endangered Tigers!

Challenge

The Bengal Tiger, an iconic symbol of Nepal's biodiversity, faces a dire threat to its survival. With only 121 tigers remaining in Nepal in 2010, the risk of global extinction was imminent. Today, although the population has increased to 355, the species remains critically endangered. The survival of the Bengal Tiger hinges on effective conservation efforts, especially in Chitwan and Bardia National Parks, which harbor the highest concentration of tigers in Nepal.

Solution

Our collaboration with Birds Nepal provides hands-on workshops, wildlife safaris, and educational experiences to underprivileged school children near the national parks. These programs instill a love for nature, teach conservation values, and prepare students for careers in sustainable eco-tourism. By involving buffer communities, we ensure that local people become stewards of their environment, crucial for the long-term survival of the Bengal Tiger.

Long-Term Impact

Nurturing a passion for conservation in young minds creates a generation of eco-leaders who will actively protect Nepal's biodiversity. Engaging buffer communities ensures that conservation efforts are sustainable and inclusive, benefiting both people and wildlife. Join us in making a lasting impact on Bengal Tiger conservation in Nepal!
