Women Roadside Businesses Struggle with No Capital

By Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

We sincerely thank you for your interest in the Empower Women Roadside Businesses Out of Poverty project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned support for women entrepreneurs has not yet begun.

Across many communities in Nigeria, women running roadside businesses continue to struggle with very limited capital. Many operate with small daily income, making it difficult to restock goods, fix equipment, or grow their businesses.

Without financial support, these women remain trapped in unstable income, affecting their ability to provide food, healthcare, and education for their families.

This project is designed to provide direct cash grants to women entrepreneurs, helping them purchase inventory, improve their businesses, and increase daily earnings. Basic guidance on managing funds will also be provided to support better use of the grants.

With the right support, these women can strengthen their businesses, improve household income, and create more stable living conditions for their families.

We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this project can begin and reach women who need financial support to grow their businesses.

Thank you for your kindness and continued support.

Sincerely,

Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
Project Leader
