September Updates: Peacebuilding Project
By Arziki Sawa | Project Adviser
I wish to thank you all for your kind donations to this project. Your continous support has helped to sustain this project.
The Centre for Sustainable Development and Education in Africa (CSDEA) continue to implement all aspects of this project. The tailoring trainings and practice are on-going. Through tailoring, participants are able to earn income to take care of themserves and their families.
We are planning a psycho-social support and gender workshop next month that will bring together 100 girls and women who have been part of this project to learn and share their experiences.
The cattles are now giving birth after close to 3 years and the girls who own the cattles as part of the Cattle Rearing aspect of this project are happy to see progress in their business.
The CSDEA intends to sustain and scale this project this year. There are 200 grls and women who are currently at various stages of the project. However, our plan is to reach 1000 women with this project. We need additional funding to reach this target for the project.
GlobalGiving is matching every donation of up to $50 at 50 percent durig the Little by Little Campaign for all donations made between 18th and 22nd of September, 2023.
Please feel free to donate and share with your networks.
Best wishes,
Arziki Sawa
