I wish to welcome you all to 2023! and our sincere thanks for your support and donation to this project.

The CSDEA intends to sustain and scale this project this year. There are 200 grls and women who are currently at various stages of the project. However, our plan is to reach 1000 women with this project. We need additional funding to reach the short term target of this project

We are continuing to introduce successful graduates of this project to education and policy processes to bring in their experiences as survivors of conflict.

We will keep you updated on the fundraising opportunities for 2023.

The peacebuilding project for girls and women who are survivors of violence from terrorist groups has been making steady progress as we plan intensive trauma healing sessions for October, 2022. We thank you all for your continous and generous donations as we navigate a very difficult financial year for this project. This year has been characterized by uncontrolled inflation that has impacted the project.

We have continued to introduce successful graduates of this project to education and policy processes to bring in their experiences as survivors of conflict.

We will keep you updated as we gradually reach the end of year fundraising season.

Dear all,

Thank you for your generous contributions towards the sustainability of this project. This project continues to support the girls and women who have tailoring shops to ensure that they can be sustainable. We also continue to support the feeding and medicines for the project recipients who are engaged in cattle rearing until they can become independent

Our psycho-social support sessions continue to take place and we are considering admitting new participants into the project

We also want to inform you of the upcoming July Bonus Day which will take place on the 20th of July, 2022. Every donation of $100 and above will be matched. A reminder will be sent closer to the date.

We welcome all our supporters and donors to 2022 and wish you a successful year! We will continue with our project in this new year by working to raise funds to sustain and expand it to include more girls and women who have directly been exposed to the violent activities of terrorists in the North East of Nigeria.

This project has been able to support 200 girls and women out of a pool of 1000 girls and women who have experienced the violent activities of Boko Haram and other terrorist groups in the North East.

We will continue to update you on fundraising activities and please feel free to set up birthday fundraisers for this project. You can also invite your friends and relatives to donate to this project.

Thank you!

Dear all,

Thank you once again for your generous donations and support. Our psycho-social support and livelihoods trainings continue to take place. Some of the girls and women in this project were recently involved in a Peace Rally to mark the 2021 International Day of Peace.

Our tailoring and cattle rearing programs are ongoing. However, some of the tailoring graduates who have opened shops are finding it difficult to renew their rents partly due to initial COVID-19 restrictions and the poor economic climate. With your help, we will continue to help them to ensure that they are able to pay their shop rents and that their sources of livelihoods are not threatened.

As we prepare for the End of Year fundraising in December, it is important to mention that GlobalGiving will be giving out $1 million in matching funds and that all donations on GivingTuesday will be matched proportionally. All monthly donations of up to four months between the 13th and 17th of December will have the first month matched at 200 percent.

Thank you for your support always!
