Participatory Design: citizens contributing and leading!
This month we will be developing workshops 5 and 6 in the communities on both sides of the rivers, to review the previous sessions, validate the participatory diagnosis and initiate Participatory Design.
"Participatory design (also known as cooperative design or co-design) is an approach to design actively dealing with all parties involved -stakeholders- (citizens, users, allies) in order to ensure the results fits their needs" Alonso, Director of Río Urbano and leader of the workshops with communities.
Also, it will be the beginning of a new phase in which leaders or local representatives will be elected to become Ambassadors of Rutas Naturbanas and be part of the Community Empowerment and Training Program on a permanent basis, so the link and contribution of the citizens will be permanent in the different stages of the project, as well as the transfer of knowledge of the project towards them.

Diagnóstico y Diseño Participativo ¡ciudadanos aportando y liderando!
En Agosto estaremos desarrolando los talleres 5 y 6 en las comunidades de ambos lados de los ríos, para realizar una recapitulación de lo visto en sesiones anteriores y así validar el diagnóstico participativo que se ha hecho y dar paso al Diseño Participativo.
"El diseño participativo (también conocido como diseño cooperativo) es un enfoque para diseñar tratando activamente a todas las partes involucradas (ciudadanos, usuarios finales, aliados) con el fin de asegurar que el producto diseñado se ajuste a sus necesidades y sea de beneficio para todos." Alonso, Director de Río Urbano y líder de los talleres con comunidades.
Además, será el inicio de una nueva fase en la que se elegirán líderes o representantes locales para que se conviertan en Embajadores de Rutas Naturbanas y sean parte del Equipo de Enlace Comunal de manera permanente y así garantizar que el vínculo y aporte de los ciudadanos sea permanente en las diferentes etapas, así como la transferencia de conocimientos del proyecto hacia ellos.
