Let's transform lives through education and sustainable nutrition! This project spans 4,000 kilometers, impacting communities across Argentina. These school agroecological gardens change lives: children improve their nutrition while gaining transformative lessons in sustainability, teamwork, and community development. We've already started in Cipolletti, implementing a drip irrigation system and delivering a tool kit. Six other schools are already surveyed and ready to follow.
In Argentina, more than 300,000 children suffer from malnutrition, + 6.000.000 in poverty. This is why gardens are so crucial in Taccagle, Formosa, where Paraguay's border witnesses the daily struggle to survive, or in La Costa, Santiago del Estero, where arid land challenges families each day. In Guernica, Buenos Aires, a school has become a refuge and a beacon of hope for children seeking more than food- a sense of purpose through their garden.
Imagine children in a rural school receiving not only tools and seeds but also the knowledge to transform their environment. In Villa Albertina, Lomas de Zamora, students at Colegio Didascalio, learn to care for water and turn every seed into food, while nature rewards their efforts with fruits and invaluable lessons. In Angaco, San Juan, a garden is more than a cultivation space: it's a living classroom where gardens not only feed but also educate.
The impact isn't just numbers, though 2,410 children in 7 schools are already part of this change. It's measured in the smiles of children harvesting their first tomatoes, families replicating these practices at home, and entire communities discovering family agroecology as a way to build a better future. These gardens aren't just projects-they're a promise that a different future is possible. Every donation is a seed that grows into education and resilience. With your support, we can make it!
