In March, Ann Foundation (AF) initiated literacy projects at the St.Mary's Balika Bhavan (SMB) located in Kerala, India and at the Fortune Learners Center (FLC) in Kayole, Kenya.
75 underprivileged girls residing at the SMB facility received initial online classes. They will be temporarily moving out of the facility due to summer holidays. AF is currently exploring options for continued learning while the students are away.
Classes were also initiated for 150 marginalized students at FLC. AF volunteer met with the students in-person last month. The online classes will resume in May after the summer holidays.
We are grateful for your past donation that let us provide a computer at SMB. Both the projects need additional equipment and supplies to facilitate remote learning.
We request your continued support in helping AF fulfill the educational goals for these children.
Best Regards
Ann Foundation Team
