Hina first stood in front of a classroom. She had just finished school herself and had no training. The children she taught came from families earning less than a dollar a day. She wanted to help but didn't know how. Chopan Trust's 3Es Program changed everything. It trained her, encouraged her, and helped her become the confident teacher she is today. With your support, we can help 100 more young women like Sana and strengthen learning for thousands of children in low-income families.
Low-cost schools serve children from marginalized communities living in poverty. These families cannot afford private schools, and community schools often struggle to pay the salaries of trained teachers. As a result, inexperienced girls enter classrooms without the skills needed to teach reading, writing, or early childhood development. This leads to poor learning outcomes and keeps children trapped in poverty.
The 3Es (Empowering Early Educators) program gives young community teachers structured training, classroom coaching, lesson planning support, and regular follow-up visits. The program builds their confidence and equips them with practical skills to run strong and engaging classrooms. When teachers grow, the whole school improves.
A trained teacher influences hundreds of children every year. By investing in 100 teachers, we strengthen up to 60 community schools and improve the education of more than 4,000 children from marginalized backgrounds. This support creates long-term change by helping families break cycles of poverty through better learning and brighter opportunities.
