Growing Together: A Classroom Full of Confidence
Every month, when Hina arrives at the Chopan Trust training hall, she carries a notebook filled with questions.
Every month, she returns to her classroom carrying answers.
A year ago, Hina believed good teachers were simply born with talent. Today, she knows that great teachers are shaped through learning, practice, encouragement, and someone who believes in them.
One afternoon during a classroom visit, our training team quietly sat at the back of Hina's class. She welcomed her students with a cheerful song before beginning a reading lesson. Instead of asking children to repeat words after her, she encouraged them to work together, discuss pictures, and read aloud with confidence.
The room was alive.
Children who once hesitated to speak were eagerly raising their hands. Even the quietest students wanted to participate.
After the lesson, Hina smiled and said, "I never imagined my classroom could become like this."
Her transformation reminds us why this journey matters.
Learning That Continues Beyond the Training Room
Teacher development is not accomplished in a single workshop. It is built through consistent learning, practical coaching, and faithful encouragement.
Throughout this reporting period, Chopan Trust continued to walk alongside teachers like Hina through the 3Es (Empowering Early Educators) program.
Each month, forty teachers gathered for professional development designed specifically for educators serving in low-cost Christian community schools. Together they explored practical strategies for teaching literacy and numeracy, creating engaging lesson plans, managing classrooms with confidence, and helping every child participate in learning.
The training room became much more than a place for lectures.
Teachers shared their successes, discussed their challenges, learned from one another, and discovered that they were not alone in their mission.
From Training to Transformation
Learning does not end when the workshop finishes.
Following each monthly training, our education team visited partner schools to observe classrooms, mentor teachers, and provide practical feedback where it mattered most, standing beside them while they taught.
These visits have become one of the strongest parts of the program.
Rather than evaluating teachers from a distance, we coach them with encouragement and practical guidance. Together we celebrate progress, identify areas for improvement, and develop realistic goals for the following month.
Teachers consistently tell us that these visits give them confidence to keep growing.
As one principal shared,
"Our teachers are no longer afraid of change. They now welcome new ideas because someone is walking alongside them."

Looking Ahead
Our vision continues to grow.
In the coming months, Chopan Trust plans to expand the 3Es Program to train 100 teachers, strengthen 60 community schools, and improve learning opportunities for more than 4,000 children.
We also hope to deepen classroom mentoring, provide additional teaching resources, and strengthen school leadership so that quality education continues long after each training session has ended.
Every confident teacher creates confident learners.
Every improved classroom changes the future of dozens of children.
And every child who discovers the joy of learning becomes a source of hope for their family and community.
