To Consolidate the Arboretum in Golfo Dulce Forest Reserve (Pacific Coast of Costa Rica), is our new project to increase knowledge and awareness of local stakeholders in the conservation of forests. We are are working on the project planning and with the formulation of activities. The goal is to consolidate the Arboretum as an Educational / Demonstration Unit and as an instrument for generating changes in attitudes and relationships with the nearby communities.
Recently, we had a reforestation activity in the Arboretum with the schoolchildren. They had fun and learned a lot getting their hands dirty to plant native trees. It was a really good way to start motivating the communities about the project. Do you also feel excited about the Arboretum in Golfo Dulce?
We hope to continue receiving your support so we can keep empowering environmental leaders!
