Empower Individuals Through Mobility and Support initiative by Alkhidmat Foundation aims to provide high-quality wheelchairs to those who lack the ability to walk, offering them freedom, dignity, and independence. Through our Alkhidmat Wheelchair Program, we focus on the most vulnerable, ensuring equitable access to mobility. The lack of access to mobility solutions severely impacts millions of people living with disabilities in Pakistan, where estimates range from 3.3 million to 27 million. Many face isolation, limited opportunities for education, employment, and social participation due to inadequate resources. This problem disproportionately affects the most vulnerable, leaving them dependent on others. Providing wheelchairs is a vital step toward granting independence, dignity, and improved quality of life.
