Dear all,
We are still in the process of raising funds - with great enthusiasm and effforts - so we can begin the project in Gombe sub-county, Uganda to make the lives of the school girls much easier and happier.
Access to sanitary products and sanitation facilities will remove the difficulties the girls currently face: absences from school, unhygienic practices, entrenched taboos and embarrassment, keeping them in school and furthering their education.
All of us at Just a Drop are keen for the project to get underway as soon as possible and are sourcing funding from many different areas, such as Trusts and Foundations.
We look forward to updating you once the project has begun, and sharing some photographs from the field.
