Dear Donors and supporters
Namaste and warm greetings to our global family of supporters. At BASS Children’s Home, we believe that every girl, regardless of her background, deserves a chance to lead a life of dignity and purpose. We are honored to share the milestones achieved by our 40 resilient girls during this quarter.
Major Milestone: 5-Year Registration Renewal
We are proud to announce that our institution has successfully secured a registration renewal for 5 more years (until 2032) under the Juvenile Justice Act and the Department of Women and Child Welfare. This official recognition ensures that our home remains a safe, supervised, and high-standard sanctuary for girls in need within the Palnadu District.
Academic Excellence & Professional Success
Our focus on high-quality, English-medium education is yielding life-changing results:
Higher Education Success: Eight girls completed their first-year Intermediate (10+1) courses with First-Class marks and are now excelling in their second year and writing final exams.
Nursing Graduates: In a major victory for our program, two young women have successfully completed their B.Sc. Nursing degrees and have already secured professional employment. They are now independent and serving their communities.
Upcoming Board Exams: Five girls are currently preparing for their 10th-grade Board Exams. We anticipate strong results that will allow them to transition into college courses this June.
Current Residency: 32 girls continue to live on-site, receiving care, nutrition, and primary/secondary schooling.
Critical Need: A Call to Action
While our academic results are at an all-time high, our funding has faced a significant dip. During the July–October period, we received only $150 in total donations. To maintain the momentum of our nursing students and younger residents, we urgently require support for:
"Your support is the bridge between a girl’s difficult past and her professional future. When you educate a girl, you empower a generation."
We thank you for your unwavering kindness. Whether through a one-time donation or by sharing our story with your network, you are a vital part of these girls' success stories. Together, we are proving that poverty does not have to be a barrier to greatness.
With love and gratitude,
The BASS Children’s Home Team
