Empower Every child to write for 1500 children

The Empower Every Child to Write project is making encouraging progress toward reaching 1,500 children with literacy and writing opportunities. So far, the project has directly supported children through guided reading, creative writing activities, access to books and learning materials, and opportunities to express themselves through writing.

During the initial implementation phase, 200 children in the community participated in literacy activities. Children received books and writing materials and were encouraged to read regularly, develop their vocabulary, and write about their experiences and ideas. The activities have helped create a more supportive environment where children can practice reading and writing with greater confidence.

The project is also helping us identify children who need additional support and strengthen partnerships with schools, families, volunteers, and community members. We are continuing to expand the program so that more children can access books, writing materials, and consistent literacy support.

Our long-term goal remains to reach 1,500 children, helping them develop the foundational reading and writing skills they need to succeed in school and participate more confidently in their communities.
