Hello everyone and happy new year! We at Until There’s A Cure would like to update you on our current project, Empower, Embrace, Educate. Thank you to all of you that have donated so far!
2022 was another roller-coaster year with COVID 19 capturing much of the headlines while more than 38 million people are living with HIV or AIDS around the world. Today, women and girls account for 49% of all new HIV infections worldwide. The biggest problem with HIV is believing it is not a problem anymore.
AIDS is no longer the death sentence it once was thanks to antiretroviral therapies, but treatment options vary depending on where someone lives and their socioeconomic status. Because of your donations, we are able to continue our partnerships with several groups impacted by AIDS on the continent of Africa. In the upcoming year, we look forward to continuing to support women in different parts of Africa and help them provide for themselves and their families.
