Education in the Philippines continues to be a challenge for many Filipino students and teachers. With the pandemic still in place, most of the schools in the Philippines are operating remotely incapable of delivering face-to-face intervention between the teacher and the students.
With the project, EmPOWER Education in Rural Philippines, the Solar Village Foundation aims to provide solar power to education and learning facilities in 10 isolated schools in Northern Samar, Philippines. With the effects of the pandemic on education, these systems will ensure that students and teachers have access to light, printer systems, and charging for phones and educational equipment.
To know more about the status of the project, emPOWER Education in Rural Philippines, please refer to the informative presentation attached to this report.
