We’ve nows served a grand total of 63,633 meals across our 15 projects, created using 64,188kg of reclaimed surplus food by a network of 1,000 volunteers who have given 48,784 hours of their time!
Without your kind support, FoodCycle just wouldn't be possible. Thank you.
Neil, a 53-year old beneficiary at FoodCycle Hub in Clacton-on-Sea says: “You get to know people through the café… you get a meal and a cup of tea and you’re able to talk to other people that might have gone through the same as you. I had a really bad breakdown just over a year ago, and it’s only in the past few weeks that I’ve come back out of my shell and feel myself again… When you’re able to start speaking to people like yourself, it makes it better…”
Beneficiary Feedback
• 67% are eating more fruit and vegetables since coming to FoodCycle
• 71% have made new friends
• 67% feel more a part of their community
Please consider supporting FoodCycle again – it really does make a huge difference to a small charity like us. Just £10 a month will cover the costs of extra ingredients for a cooking session where we’ll feed 50 vulnerable people with a healthy three-course meal.
