Educational Empowerment’s two schools in Dawei continue to thrive, providing the education and learning materials needed to empower these youth to fulfill their dreams for a better life.
Within this country where physical risk is ever present and hope for peace dwindles, education is essential. The beauty of these schools is that they are ‘owned’ by the community. Parents become teachers. High school graduates become tutors. And the boys and girls continue to learn. These schools are sustainable, even in the midst of war.
