Project Focus:
Educating, protecting, and restoring hope among teenage mothers through education, emotional support, and community empowerment.
The past three months have been both challenging and transformative for the Empower and Rebuild Hope Project. Despite limited resources, we remained committed to keeping teenage mothers safe, supported, and enrolled in school. Our focus has been on education continuity, emotional well-being, and rebuilding confidence for a better future.
Key Achievements
Education & Safety:
All enrolled girls were kept safe and supported in school. In January, returning students were re-enrolled and new teenage mothers were enrolled, ensuring continuity of learning.
Growing Community:
We welcomed a new young mother into the program. Former beneficiaries who have since prospered visited the project, shared their testimonies, and committed to supporting and mentoring current participants.
Emotional Well-being:
We celebrated Christmas together, providing a sense of family, belonging, and hope during a season that is often difficult for vulnerable young mothers.
A small library was established with a few books, creating a safe learning space and encouraging a culture of reading and personal growth.
As a young initiative, we are still building our fundraising capacity. Available resources remain limited, while the needs of the girls continue to grow.
With increased support, the project will expand learning resources, strengthen mentorship, and provide additional educational and psychosocial support—directly improving outcomes for both the young mothers and their children.
