Our feeding programs continue

Title: Feeding Program Quarterly Report Expansion

School: Gahok Hope For Kids

*Program Status*

Our feeding program continues each school day. Every child receives a meal during school hours so they can learn with energy and focus. The program runs with support from staff, pupil champions, and community volunteers who help with preparation and serving.

*What It Means For Children*

Daily meals reduce hunger and support growth. Teachers report steadier attention from morning lessons through the last period. Children miss fewer days due to weakness or stomach issues. A shared meal also builds community as children eat together and practice table manners and hygiene.

*Impact On Learning*

With food provided at school, families face less pressure to choose between work and sending children to class. Children arrive on time and stay for the full day. Classrooms feel calmer and participation increases because learners are not distracted by hunger.

*How We Protect The Program*

We monitor supplies weekly to avoid gaps. Pupil champions remind peers about hand washing before meals. Staff record attendance during meal time so we can spot children who may need extra support.
