*HOPE FOR KIDS*
*GENERATING NUMEROUS BENEFITS: TARGETED APPROACH*
One small targeted support generates numerous benefits.
We do not just give a uniform. We target the real problem.
*We targeted lack of materials:*
We gave 150 children uniforms, books and pens.
Benefit: Confidence returned. Attendance increased. Performance improved. Shame left the classroom.
*We targeted hunger:*
We gave 200+ children daily school meals.
Benefit: Children stay in school all day. Concentration improved. Dropout reduced. Parents send children to school.
*We targeted dropout due to fees:*
We paid fees for 45 children.
Benefit: 45 children back in class. Families relieved. Future secured.
*We targeted girls' absence:*
We gave 180 girls pads and dignity kits.
Benefit: Girls stay in school every day. Dignity restored. Equality in learning.
*We targeted homelessness:*
We gave 12 children shelter.
Benefit: Safety, sleep, and a chance to learn again.
One targeted approach - numerous benefits. Because when you solve one real need, you solve five problems at once.
Today we care for 520+ children with this same targeted approach. We don't waste - we target what keeps a child out of school, and we remove it.
But needs are still many. Food not enough for all. No own classrooms. More books needed.
