*BACKGROUND*
- Every school journey starts with basic needs
- No food, no uniform, no books = no dignity, no school
- Poverty steals dignity before child reaches class

*OBJECTIVES*
- Restore dignity by meeting basic needs
- Provide food for strength to walk to school
- Provide uniform, books for confidence in class
- Provide fees & shelter for peace to learn

*ACTIVITIES DONE*
- Met basic need of food - daily meals to 200+ children
- Met basic need of dignity - uniforms & shoes to 150 children
- Met basic need of learning - books & pens to 150 children
- Met basic need of access - fees paid for 45 children
- Met basic need of safety - shelter for 12 homeless children
- Met basic need of hope - counseling to 60 families

*ACHIEVEMENTS*
- 520+ school journeys restored with dignity
- Children now go to school clean, fed, confident
- Attendance & performance improved
- Street idleness reduced
- Dignity restored in families

*CHALLENGES*
- Basic needs not met for all 520 daily - limited funds
- Food shortage
- No own premises - renting
- High cost of meeting needs
- Few staff & transport

*WAY FORWARD*
- Ensure every child’s basic needs met before school
- Fundraise for own land & classrooms
- Expand feeding to all 520
- Start income project for sustainability
- Build partnerships

- Behind every school journey is a basic need
