For too many unprivileged children in Central Uganda, this is not a choice anyone should have to make.

 *The Reality*
- *Hungry children can’t learn.* An empty stomach makes it impossible to concentrate in class.
- *Families in poverty choose food over fees.* When money is tight, school fees, uniforms, and supplies are the first things cut.
- *Girls drop out.* Without meals at school and without pads, many miss days and eventually leave.

It becomes: _Eat today, or go to school and hope for tomorrow._
