A message of gratitude and hope from founder

Report: A Message Of Gratitude And Hope From The Founder
Theme: Thank You For Choosing Children, Hope For What Comes Next at Gaba Hope for Kids

A message of gratitude and hope from the founder.

To every teacher, mentor, donor, partner, and friend who has walked with us: Thank you.

Since 2021 we have supported over 860 children. Behind that number are stories that would not exist without you. The child who returned from the street. The girl who stayed all term with dignity. The classroom that stayed open when it rained. The desk that stopped being a barrier and started being a place to learn.

Gratitude
I am grateful for the way you saw what others missed. You did not wait for perfect conditions. You met the need that was in front of you. You fixed a roof before the rains. You provided pads before shame kept girls home. You sat with a child before pressure at home won. You gave time, resources, and voice when children had none.

You taught us that hope is not a slogan. Hope is showing up. Hope is fixing what is broken. Hope is saying “you belong here” to a child who was told the opposite.

Hope
I am full of hope because of what we see when barriers fall. Children smile again. They raise their hands again. They speak about the future again. Teachers report students helping each other. Guardians report children talking about school at home.

That is what happens when support is timely, practical, and sustained. Hope is not wishful thinking. It is a child moving from “if I stay” to “when I finish.” And we are watching that change, term after term.

The Work Ahead
The need is still urgent. Barriers still close doors. Roofs still leak. Girls still face shame. Children still stand at the edge of the classroom wondering if they belong.

But we also know what works. Assess with children and teachers. Respond to the need that is real today. Sustain support so progress is not lost. Amplify the voice of children until every one of them is kept in class.

My Promise
As founder, my promise is simple: We will stay close to children. We will listen first. We will act early. We will not stop until the gap between aid and needs is closed and every child has the chance to learn.

Closing
Thank you for choosing children. Thank you for believing that a desk, a pad, a mentor, and a voice can change a future. Thank you for making Gaba Hope for Kids more than an organization. You made it a place where hope is visible.

The work is not finished. But because of you, the future for hundreds of children is no longer closed. It is open. It is possible. It is hopeful.

With deep gratitude and steady hope,
The Founder
