Hello everyone! Happy October! We at Until There’s A Cure would like to give another update on our current project - Empower A Women, Empower The World. Thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraiser thus far! Fundraising for our current project allows us to help women in South Africa provide for themselves and their families.
We are still very far from our goal however, over the past month we have been able to purchase lots of new products from these women some including new handmade stuffed animals, cards, ornaments, pouches, bracelets, and so much more. Purchases of these beautiful handmade items directly impact the artisans, many of whom are HIV+. It is so important to us to reach our $2,000 goal as COVID-19 has put a disruption in HIV testing and treatment leading to a spike in HIV cases especially in different parts of Africa.
We work very closely to empower and uplift those who are most impacted by HIV/AIDS. By donating to our project and getting us closer to our goal, you are allowing us to continue to make large purchases from these amzing women in South Africa which allows them to provide for themselves and their families and gain self-confidence to take their lives into their own hands.
