Women in South Africa that you are supporting!
Hello everyone! We hope that everyone had a great summer. We at Until There’s A Cure would like to update you on our current project, Empower A Women, Empower The World. Fundraising for our current project allows us to support HIV+ women in different parts of Africa and help them provide for themselves and their families. Thank you to all of you that have donated so far!
We are still striving for our goal and have a ways to go, however over the last few months we were able to place more orders from the artians that make all of our beautiful handmade items all thanks to you! It is crucial that we reach our $2,000 goal so that we can continue to help women in South Africa especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. UNAIDS revealed that the AIDS response is under serious threat from COVID-19 and the economic crisis, compounded by a continued decline in resources. A new HIV infection occurred every two minutes among young women and girls aged 15—24 years old in 2021.
We at UNTIL want to continue to uplift and empower women that are living in vulnerable and marginalized communities. By donating to our project and getting us closer to our goal, you are helping create positive work opportunities for women in South Africa while also helping women find self confidence and respect in their communities.

We are still striving for our goal and still have a way to go, however over the last few months we were able to place a large order from the artisans that make all of our beautiful handmade items and even start on a new project with them. It is crucial that we reach our $2,000 goal so that we can continue to support women in South Africa especially as the COVID-19 pandemic has caused a huge disruption in HIV testing and access to HIV treatment.

Empowering Women In South Africa

Hello everyone and happy new year! We hope that everyone has had a great start to the new year so far. We at Until There’s A Cure would like to update you on our current project, Empower A Women, Empower The World. Fundraising for our current project allows us to support women in South Africa and help them provide for themselves and their families. Thank you to all of you that have donated so far!
We still have a ways to go before we reach our goal, however over the holidays we were able to place a very large order with all new products that are handmade by these amazing women. Some of the new products included bracelets, scarves, lanyards, stuffed animals, bags, and so much more. Our purchases of these large product orders directly impact the artisans by giving them job opportunities and allows them to provide for their families.
It is extremely important that we reach our $2,000 goal as COVID-19 is still heavily impacting HIV testing and treatment which is leading to a spike in HIV cases in South Africa. By donating to our project, you are continuing to allow us to make a positive impact on the lives of these women which allows them to gain self-confidence and be able to provide for themselves and their families.
