Dear Friends and Donors,
Around the world, there is no denying the toll that COVID-19 has taken on our families, friends, and local communities. Yet, this year has seen a light through the darkness. Earlier this year, local COVID-19 restrictions were lifted. Local governments are now supporting and organizing vaccination efforts against COVID-19.
Because of your support, our program successfully vaccinated elders throughout the Kisumu area. Although, the government is now largely responsible for vaccination efforts, we are working in partnership with other local organizations to supply COVID-19 vaccines during our outreach sessions for the International Day of the Older Person in early October. Keep an eye out for updates from our team and be sure to follow our social media (Facebook and Instagram) for more information about the upcoming outreach events!
On behalf of all of us at AgeWatch Africa -- our incredible volunteers, Board of Directors, Advisory Board Members, and the elderly clients that we are humbed to serve - thank you for your generous donations and incredible support throughout the pandemic. We wish you continued health and many thanks for your support.
With much gratitude,
Richard Waindi
