Junior Achievement (JA) of Southern Massachusetts is extremely grateful for the support we have received for our Fall 2013 programs!
By the end of this program session, our volunteers will have completed 60 classroom programs and impacted an estimated 1,200 students throughout Bristol and Plymouth counties! JA programs enrich the classroom experience, showing students the value of an education and equipping them with the skills and tools they need to be more successful in school and their future careers.
More imporatantly, our students walked away with valuable life skills that will help them understand the context of what they're learning in school and make smart decisions throughout life.
Testimony from a teacher who had Junior Achievement in her classroom: "Our JA volunteer had great control of the classroom. Her excitement for what she was teaching caused the students to be excited about what they were learning. She provided opportunity for all students to share their thoughts. They loved her and so did I!"
Testimony from a JA volunteer: "This was a great experience and truly a pleasure for me! Since completing the class I have seen several of the students in various places in the community and they have proudly introduced me to their parents."
